As always, thanks for the kind words about uncle bob! When I retire (another couple of years) I'll finally have the time to upload segments of some great video and analogue tape recordings of Bob Richardson recounting various colorado ng as well as sg events he experienced. One fellow, (I have the vhs tape but apologize for not coming up with his name right away)made an interview tape with Bob in the basement of the CRRM regarding the galloping goose adventures along the rgs. There is another made by the Akron R.R. Club in 1998 and I made some tape recordings of Bob sharing stories from various times he came through Cleveland OH in years past. Some of the practical jokes played along the way (harmless as Bob's always were)came out as he talked. Gordon Chappell has a bunch he can re-tell very well. I also have a lot of Bob's personal movies he made in colorado but as well as other locations across the country( like the Tionesta Valley in Pa.). One of the fellas posted here about a month or so ago regarding a line in Texas that he recalled uncle bob giving a funny name to. I do believe I have a film bob made (a practical joke documentary) that I'll try to find over the upcomming holidays.This is a great forum and I sure do enjoy the great topics you folks post.My only regret is, I thought I'd use the old CRRM standing joke name of K.Itty on this forum, and it seems most folks think its a female. I guess what worked for Bob in the narrow gauge news but it sure did backfire on me.
