Re: Jay Wimer -- Wrong? Again? Yes and No...

Projections and prognostication are just fancy words for an educated guess. Sometimes you guess right, sometimes wrong. Guessing other peoples motives for doing or not doing something is always a crap shoot. Arguing about it is even dumber.
The thing I find rather sad is that Jay often makes some VERY good points... but then they kinda get lost in all the invective. But then, that seems to be the way he is wired.
Yes, the RGRPC has done a rather creditable job in many areas so far... but there is also always room for improvement, too. I would hope that the Friends and RGRPC board members are big enough to seriously consider and to implement the good suggestions, no matter WHERE they originated. I also hope Jay finds the patience to wait and see, and give the benifit of the doubt once in a while.
I don't know who is responsible for starting this US vs THEM mentality, and, to be honest, I really don't care. I just think it should be put behind, for the good of the RR. This whole thing has become an argument as much about personalities, as policy, or facts. To all of those involved, please try taking a step back and a deep breath. After all, this isn't a grade school sandbox, and compromise, co-operation, & consideration are NOT dirty words.
*Dang, I just busted my soapbox...(duzzit mean it is time to shut up, or just go onna diet?)
