'That fellow' who visited earlier this week is VERY grateful for Fritz' and Terry's warm hospitality,
and for the privilege of contributing his two cent's worth to a very worthwhile project. A few of
the 140 pictures he took - instead of working harder - are shown below.
It was snowing when 'that fellow' arrived just before noon on Monday, but work on the roadbed
continued. It's a good thing that modern earth-moving equipment has enclosed cabs!
After the snow stopped, the new doors could be seen more clearly. It looked like the sub-roadbed was nearly complete:
But it had been determined that the track outside the doors should be level for forty feet - not four - so some additional digging and grading was necessary:
