On Monday (Sept 21st), I got the CD-ROM Catalog of the Richard Dorman Collection for the “Chili Line” from the Friends. On it, it has a listing of bridges extracted from D&RGW Valuation Maps dated 12/23/1919 with corrections added in 1927 and occasional minor amendments up to abandonment in 1941. For Bridge 367C it lists the following:
MP 367.44
Crossing Bridge Type Span
Chama River Steel Truss Bridge 100’ 416’
Fire Decked Pile Trestle – 10 Panel 196'
There were no pictures for the bridge in question on the CD. There is a rumor that there was a photographic survey of all of the "Chili Line" bridges sometime before abandonment of the Santa Fe Branch by the Rio Grande, but I don't know anyone that has seen it. It could be at the Colorado Railroad Musuem, but has not been cataloged yet (if it exist that is).
I hope this is helpful.
