Following regards the exact location but only some early history of what might have been. And this bridge might exist near Creede. Sorry, I do not know of a photo of what the K-28s ran over.

"A dispatch from Espanola says: It does not seem to be generally known that the D&RG RR company is extending its line eleven miles from Wagon Wheel Gap to Creede camp, but such is the fact. Foreman McNamara was there with his gang of carpenters yesterday, and loaded a bridge which had been designed to replace the present old one on the Chama river north of Espanola. It is to be used on the Creede Camp extension. Large strikes are recently reported at that place."
