So! From what I am reading here I am back to my first belief that it was to put the stock car doors closer to the dock.
I believe I have pictures someplace. Firat chance I get I'll see if i can find them. Right now I'm not sure what year I took the ones in question
and that is the way I have them indexed.
I do remember that we looked over the layout pretty carefully. I believe the transition was accomplished by the use of guard rails or flangeways and that there was no switch throwing involved.
Anyone care to enlighten me?
