Well, living here in Colorado Springs, with all the military bases around, and NOT hearing the normal air traffic, both civilian and military has been really eerie.
30 minutes ago the "world" returned to normal. No there aren't any civilian passenger planes landing or taking off. No the sound of high flying interceptors hasn't gone away. No the C130 Herky Birds aren't flying. No Ft. Carson isn't doing training down range, and finally No the Falcons aren't going to beat Utah this weekend (game rescheduled for Dec.1).
What then you might wonder has put my world "back to normal"? The sound of the police helicopter flying around. Slowly the US is moving on.
