Again, I say I'm not interpreting history. I'm also an old fart who has spent the last 40 years preserving railroad history. Correct or not, the term marker lights is used for both front and rear ones. If you want to split hairs, this is not correct, but is commonly used by new railfans and old curmudgeons alike. This forum is supposed to be used as a discussion site and to pass on information. ( John, I appreciate your deleting your post saying I didn't care about history) The problem is some people treat the NGdiscussion group like it is scripture. Unlike scripture it is not God breathed. A lot of posters get caught up in their own wonderfulness and think they have been elevated to that position. Every poster has made mistakes at one time or another, lighten up! Again, most of us old curmudgeons really do care about history.
This group is entertaining and informative. Let's keep it that way.
