"May I ask what equipment you used to scan your slides?"
The slides were scanned on a Polaroid Sprintscan 4000 at 4000 dpi, and then processed through Photoshop. The Polaroid machine at the time was about the best slide scanner available, but Polaroid is now out of that business and the Sprintscan is old technology. But it motors on. The key to good slide scanning is to have a dedicated slide scanner, and not try to do it on a flatbed, even with a slide adapter.
Since these were among the first slides I scanned, my Photoshop skills were very primitive and a lot of these pictures are not as good as they could be. Hopefully in the future I can significantly improve the images, and I would like to post full screen versions if and when I come up with a new site.
