Chlorine in boiler water is bad news.... It combines with the the water to form hydrochloric acid. I've hears some real horror stories of late about chlorine in boiler water eating up new tube jobs adn boiler barrels. There are chemicals we add to the water in Alamosa to counteract the chlorine.
