When I arrived on the scene in 1960, open offices were Alamosa, La Jara, Antonito, Chama, Dulce, Ignacio, Durango, Aztec, and Farmington. Dulce and Ignacio closed before I could even visit. Romeo, Gato, and Silverton were all open into the 50's.
The only agent/telegrapher that I have any information about is well known Amos Cordova, who was agent at Durango during the final days of the DRGw, and Dave Gross told me prior to that he had been at Chama. Amos went on to be a VP of the D&SNGRR, and is or at least recently was on the CTSMC board. I have a handwritten order Amos wrote for a Farmington turn.
Farmington was credited by Bob Richardson of having the highest cash receipts of any station on the DRGW at some point during the oil boom.
