Scott, it would be interesting to hear a bit more about your work flow, since downsizing seems to be a real trap, as does the various format options:raw, tif, jpg, etc. It used to be you took a slide, and what you got was what you got. Now post processing introduces so many options that it has created a whole new learning challenge in terms of being a good photographer. I have a picture posted in this thread that is a good example of how not to downsize.....it was a quick and dirty attempt to copy and downsize a railpix post that was too large to post here directly.
