Re: K-27 at Knott's Knatural gas?

At some time in the 80's, Knott's had rigged up a Makenzie tape with a canned narrative for the railroad trip's points of interest. It was one that had to be turned on and off since the trips didn't all take the same amount of time.

Late nights on the GT&C used to really drag on. However, the crew on the closing shift would always find ways to keep their skills honed. It was really an art to see how long of a trip could be made on six tenths of a mile of track! The conductor would declare "we will make four trips in the last hour."

The train would go out and then not return for 20 minutes! I think the record was 22 minutes. I wonder if Glenn Wilson, John Fitzgerald or Marty Keithley are out there?
