I'll try to provide a little information.
Original size of the transfer table was 30'x387'
In 1926 work was done to widen the table and pit by 10' and convert to electric operation.
1926:
Widen table and Pit 10' New size 40'x387'
Extend transfer from 30' to 40'
Transfer on 5 lines rails, 10 - 33" car wheels.
Track on transfer 3 lines, 52 lb. rails.
Electric Motor and crab, overhead trolley on steel supports.
As mentioned in another post, transfer table was between the roundhouse and machine shop building, The machine shop had 12 bays for working on equipment. The Blacksmith shop and boiler house were wings on the south end.
The lead to the transfer table was on the north side of the round house, next to engine hoist.
Transfer table was retired in 1972.
The machine shop building was retired in 1972. Meaning all charges for demolition work was completed at that time.
Partial retirement of roundhouse was recorded in 1972
