First question, has anyone seen a photo of OLC #7 after its load of wood caught fire and burned up the cab interior back in the 30's or early 40's? My understanding is that the fire started during the night when the engine was unattended and was a total surprise the next morning.
I am posting a copy of a photo of Baker White Pine #1 after a spectacular pile up. The man in the foreground is the engineer Ben Rogers. He went on to work for the MtEmily and may have been one of MtEmily #1's engineers? BWP #1 was rebuilt and went back into service hard as it is to believe, much like the Hobart engines.
