Those are some pictures. I did not know that the #10 (W.S.L.Co. #14) ever burned that badly.
All the remaining W.S.L.Co. Shays shows the scars and war wounds from their years of logging service. but The #14 shows little evidence of this fire.
What is interesting is the arched windows of the original cab and the shroud around the oil bunker. Both are long gone.
The W.S.L.Co #7 has a good example of the Lima Shay arched window Steel cab.
The # 14 is a great locomotive. Fast for a shay with Lots of power. It is an easy riding locomotive and a good steamer. However now she is in need of new gears and a little TLC.
