Kevin -
I suggest you contact Jeff Badger.
Not only does he have a long history of firing a wide variety of both coal- and oil-fired n.g. & s.g. locomotives, he is also a VERY accomplished backhead chef and I'm sure he will be happy to advise you not only as to the requisite brushes, drills, files, hacksaws, hammers, pliers, pokers, poles, ratchets, rods, screwdrivers, shovels, tongs, w(r)enches, etc. needed to get the train over the road, but also as to the blenders, coffeepots, coolers, forks, knives, lids, pans, skillets, spatulas, spoons, w(r)enches etc., necessary when exercising the culinary skills expected of a truly experienced fireperson aboard a poorly drafting 2-6-2.

p.s. An experienced fireman can find the correct wrench needed to pound in a loose screw in less than five minutes.
