The movement of slack from the old SMith Hill dump required about three trains a week for part of that time. Some of the trains were powered by 268, but a number were powered by K36s. Following is an item from the period...

Heavy snows caused Ozzello Construction Company of Trinidad to cease operations November 13-after evacuating 533 narrow gauge cars (something less than 12,000 tons)-which hardly made a dent in the huge pile.
