The Pennsylvania had three (class D16sb) that lasted until the end, one of which (1223) is still in existence. It was used for a while on the Strasburg, but now lives at the State Museum in Strasburg. I believe these were used on the DelMar line, and there is a color shot of one of them on a work train in Don Balls 'THE PENNSYLVANIA RAILROAD IN THE 1940'S AND 1950'S".

Interesting to see that the largest RR in the country (at the time) still used 4-4-0's... cool smiley
