Thanks for sharing your memories of "life with Bob" Brian. I personally know how 'persuasive' Bob could be when he wanted to "git 'er dun". Bob was not driven by ego or any desire for personal recognition. He did what he had to do simply because it was there to do. As mentioned by others here, Bob had an uncanny ability to quietly get you to do his bidding and think it was your idea in the first place. AND he was always open to new ideas, but boy watch out because next thing you knew you were in it up to your you-know-what and he was off seeing after some other project. Bob was able to keep track of dozens of projects and still maintain some sense of order out of all the chaos. I will miss Bob, we will all miss him.
May you have a clear track ahead, Bob. Godspeed good friend and my prayers and condolences for Mona and their family.
Normally I don't post the same picture on more than one board. This morning I posted this picture over at the Goat. Bob was indeed a special person above and beyond all such things so I will make an exception this time. This is how I will remember Bob (at the 2004 "C" Work Session Monday morning meeting, Bob on the left and Brian Shoup on the right)..............
