Re: Water tank and enginehouse question

Hi -
The water tank is likely ex Pioneer Mill Co, there is also one south of town too. It is still in water service. The one in the photo is knocked down now. The building behind it is an old utility building, unknown if it was PMCo or not. The LK&P has a new grade crossing in this area, the baloon track is replaced with a wye now. The oil service is an ex KRR tank car, and the whaleback tender is from a ex KRR engine also. Over by the south terminial, it is psssible that the PMCo engine shed is still standing (in coffee service!). Some 30 3/4" track can be found still over by Mala Wharf.
