Kauai Plantation Railway
At this time it is diesel hauled. But there are two steam locomotives being restored in California for the operation. These two locomotives once operated on another of the Hawaii islands and then were used in the Philippines.
Also on Kauai is the Grove Farm Homestead Museum which has several 30" steam locomotives from the sugar plantation days that in past were occasionally steamed up. Its website is at
