As I recall, I corresponded with Kyle several years ago about the 6500 series. I was told that they (Kyle) tried very hard to save the last 6500 from coach conversion but the Commision would not budge.
Would it be possible (in future Friends plans) to take a S.G. flat and gut it down to 6500 dimensions for MOW work? If this would be done, I'd label it C&TS and use the first unassigned 6500 number so it would be a little more clear that it is a reproduction.
