As you can see from the pedestal binders of the main frame outside of each wheel (under the truck frame), that the truck doesn’t have much farther it can travel anyway before it hits the frame. As to what specifically has stopped it’s swing where it is, perhaps it’s the equalizing, perhaps the fireman’s side wheel has hit the ashpan, there’s no way to tell.
