Hey, thanks for all the ideas, I will try to check them out later this season. Recreating the orginal circle tour is one thing that I think dyed in the wool railfans would eat up.
It's not your momma's tour though. I was thinking originally more of a circle tour package geared at those fairly interested in the narrow gauge (but by not neccessarily foaming about it). So this would be a motor coach link that would pick up at the end of one ride and take to the beginning of another. I don't know if this could be done at Georgetown Loop, or if it makes sense for small operations like Ridgeway and the CRRM, but it would definitely be an interesting way to combine C&TS and the DSNG.
Some of the interesting points of abandoned facilities or preserved stations brought up here would also be a worthwhile addition, especially Gato, but you don't want to bore the folks who came to see more than a vacant bump on the ground.
....Just think of other ways to increase revenue.
