Brian,
I'll have to take a good look at the paint under the eaves, as a matter of fact, that's the only place on the caboose I remember seeing what looked like actual paint. I have a small piece of siding from the caboose somewhere, I'll find it and put a few drops of water on it to see the actual color. I want to restore her as close as possible to how she looked in 1947. None of the siding will be replaced, but some will have repairs done. The colors will be as close a match as possible, and this will give me a chance to fix some of the inaccuracies in her paint job. I'll post my first message over at RyPN and see what I get.
