Keller stories

I never met Bob, but we carried on a lively email correspondence in the early days of RGRPC. We often argued, occasionally agreed, and generally enjoyed the debate.

Bob was a great story teller. Partly at my urging he started a history of Scenic Railways, a few chapters got written, and then the project tailed off. Too bad, Bob was a colorful fellow, and it would have been an interesting story.....even if the literal truth might have been debated. And clearly there were strongly held contrary views from others. Any book could easily have fitted into a "point/counterpoint" format. But it would not have been boring.

I'd love to hear more stories about Bob in the spirit of a good natured roast and internet Irish wake. Everyone I have met who worked with him had at least one good story to tell, but since I heard them all second hand it is best that I not try to retell them.
