The NGDF is the ONLY site that I've consistently (that is, more than a single brief instance) had DNS problems with in recent memory, using either QWest's nameservers or Open DNS', and it's certainly not the only mom'n'pop site that I regularly access. I rather expect that if anybody's going to keep up, it's going to be Open DNS.

I don't claim to be an expert in the mysteries of DNS record propagation, BTW, just a reasonably knowledgeable guy - but your explanation doesn't quite seem to fit what I'm seeing either.
