I have started looking thru my 2004 and 2005 Patagonia videos to prepare for recounting the story of the the eventful 2004 trip. However before going to 2004, here are a few memorable moments from the 2005 trip that featured fewer adventures but made up for it with more beautiful weather. These are DV frames, pre-HDV, so they are fairly shy on pixels.
(BTW, At the moment a contractor is laying fiber optics a quarter mile from our house, but we don't yet know if we get to tie into it... maybe posting actual video clips could become practical eventually)
Here the TUT charter's double headed Baldwin mikes are climbing northbound into the hills between El Maiten and Norquinco
Smoking it up for the grade
A little further on the climb there was one of the frequent encounters with another kind of white - not snow but flocks of sheep charging up the railroad grade in a cloud of dust
(to be continued)
