The collection is not in danger in fact Sandstone continues review other available locomotives to add to the collection.

It is the railway that is closed because the regulatory authority's in South Africa wants it to meet all the operational standards of a regular tourist railway even though it is on private property and does not "haul the public".

One has to be an invited guest to attend a "meet".

It is however, hard to detect if there is some posturing going on between Wilf Mole the owner of Sandstone and the Authorities in order to get relief. Time will tell.
