Stub double slip

Hi,
Here are two photos of double slip stub turnouts. The first is in Atlanta Ga and the second is in Washington DC during the Civil War - the actual origins of these photos are unknown but are public domain.
These three photos are of a 4.75" gauge stub double slip I built in my backyard. They were published in Modeltec Magazine.
