Hi all,

There's a decent article from the Montrose Daily Press about #278 and its need for maintenance (posted online at http://www.montrosepress.com/articles/2007/11/10/news/doc473539c2e6025512266193.txt ).

I've emailed back and forth a few times with Forest Frost, the National Park Service archeologist that's interviewed for the article. He seems to be very interested in preserving #278. His email is Forest_Frost@nps.gov and the more people who express support for the preservation and restoration of this locomotive, the better the chances are the NPS will help out.

BTW, this is my first post. I've been enjoying reading the threads for a few weeks now. Thanks for letting me participate!
