The bike path between Copper Mtn. exit and Frisco is the old DSP&P grade. Between Copper and about 1 mile east on I-70, if one looks to the west accross the ponds to the west shore of same, you can see the old D&RG grade. The only place it is visible, until you go north on Hiway 9 at Silverthorne. I haven't been up Fremont Pass for a while, but one could see both grades until you got to the hiway relocation. The town buried under the the mine tailings was Kokamo. The D&RG and DSP&P fought several battles(in the courts) over ROW in and around Kokamo. The terrain was to narrow to allow the normal 50' ROW separation. When was the Blue River branch abondoned? keith
