Ommigod, Ed - Great Minds do sometimes Think Alike -
(Seek, and Ye shall Find; Ask, and It Shall be Granted ...
better late than never.)
En route on Wednesday 10/17 to U.C. Davis with my daughter Cindy (not exactly a foamette, but at least she more than tolerates my addiction to Steam Locomotives
*), we listened to a couple of her music CDs, including the new Mel Brooks musical, "The Producers". This, combined with Jeff Badger's post earlier today (see [
ngdiscussion.net]), has inspired the following preliminary VERY rough draft:
"Springtime for Georgetown and Silver Plume,
Winter for Behrens and Bell
Fine-aly some response-ible over-sight
An end to the descent to Hell
"Springtime for Georgetown and Silver Plume
A return to a rational plan
The trains will again, once more, run on time
If those bo-zos are dumped in the can!
(Comments, revised and/or additional lines are more than welcome!!)
* O-K, so you've seen this before - but what's a proud papa to do?
p.s. Speaking of Mel Brooks, maybe we should feed Behrens & Bell a few beans so they can star in a remake of the Horses Asses scene in "Blazing Saddles"!
