I have a bit of a different take on what occurs on this vid than some above; yes the "camera engine" runs the red block, but only because the diverging clear he had drops in his face!

We start out with him going by a yellow over yellow or approach diverging. This means you are gong in the hole at next signal, and make sure you are at the prescribed speed thru the turnout when you get to the turnout. You hear the hogger make a set, no doubt getting them down to at least 30 as you should past a yellow. He then trundles along for a bit. As he approaches the double signal, you cant' make out the aspect, but he knows he was lined in. He sets more air to get 'em down to the turnout speed. The aspect comes in view, and he has a red over green or diverging clear. Now, I run on mainly doule track ABS and CTC, but to me this means he is lined out the other end too. (Jump in here Rick or anyone for correction if needed) When he gets within 2 or 3 cars from the block, the oncoming train runs his block, dumping "light" set up for the "camera engine" to all red. The hogger of the other train "joins the birds" and whammo.

I don't actually think he dumps the air because at the time he makes his last set, he still has a light in and thus the right to make his move. Sounds ike a sevice set to me. Something similar happened to me once, but it was a dispatcher who dumped the light, not an oncoming train thank you very much. Of course I was not at the investigation, so all the above is conjecture with a bit of experience.
