Chama Double Heading, 315, La Veta

Planning our trip to NM and CO for next week. It looks like CATS is running two trains everyday this year, one from each end. I assume the train from Chama to Cumbres is double headed each time. Can anyone confirm this? Plan to visit the D&S for some 315 action on the 26th and 27th, visit Greg Posta in Ridgway then return to CATS for the Fall Madness extravaganza on the 30th. I assume the regular passengar train leaving at 10AM would be double headed to Cumbres. Anyone have any idea what time the freight special was going to leave? If Jay was planning to use the 489 and one other engine his train would have to leave early to have time for all the runbys, etc and still make lunch at Osier. Plus the extra engine would have to hustle back to help the regular passenger run. Or was his train leaving after the regular passenger? Without the 489 might the freight special be combined with the regular passenger? Anyone have the scoop on all this? Thanks. Are they still running steam over La Veta on the weekends?
