They were mostly still there as of June. 2 or three of them were now in Monte Vista along with some of the other stuff that Don Shank owns. Driving near the "compound", it was clear that a lot had gone on for a brief period, but, it looks like a lot of it is untouched. I hope it will stay that way, that part of Alamosa gets a lot of vandlaism from what I can tell.
The only equipment that I can recall off hand that have gone elsewhere since my first visit in 2003 are one gon to a fellow in Lake City (apparently, whoever this is also owns a 3000 series car and is, or planning to restore them), one gon mysteriously appeared on the GLRR, and 4 gons to the CRRM. Aside from that, none of the cars have turned up elsewhere from what I recall. In 2003, there were 8 gons, 8 boxes, 16 stock cars and 3 flatcars if I recall, plus many other frames of other cars, plus 4 other boxes outside the compound (ownership unknown), and one more 3000 series at the NG motel, which has since disappeared. All of the stock cars and gondolas had numbers, 1 flatcar had a number, and I was able to examine 5 of the 8 boxcars for numbers (with permission I'll add).
My guess is, if anything else moves, it will turn up in Monte Vista. The remaining 2 gondolas, several boxes, and the previously mentioned stock cars were there in June.
