An addendum...

This tank was originally restored by the Rocky Mountain Jeep Club of Denver and not by the Forest Service.

The photos in Dow Helmer's Alpine Tunnel Book show the tank about ready to fall over. The Jeep club straightened the tub and repainted it many years ago.
