So were 486 & 487 sent back to Alamosa via the Poncha Pass or had that been abandoned by that time? Am I right in thinking that all the other Ks up there were kept at Salida for the Monarch branch before being sent back to Alamosa via the Standard Gauge?

Out of interest did a K-27 every visit Gunnison after the Black Canyon line was abandoned?
