What are the possibillities of having a modern replica made of C&S #9. A modern reproduction of the engine would eliminate the safety issues. Is there a facility available that could create such an engine and any idea of the potential costs in relation to getting 9 back into operating condition. Or would some other reproduction engine be more economical or efficent in such a mountain grade operation. Even if the original 9 is fixed, it will still have a limited lifetime of operation based on the age of the engine. Ken in Buena Vista
