Rule Q
In case of an accident, injury, or fire it is necessary to call 911. The caller must
be clear to refer to the railroad as a “private miniature railroad” and/or “miniature
train.”
This is a rulebook for live steamers, and much of it is not applicable. While based on a "real" rulebook, it does not include rules that comply with the intent of current FRA regulations or the operating requirements of "real" trains.
I do agree that it would be an advantage for TRAINS to create a one or two basic standard rulebooks that should be adopted by any member not using a current railroad's rulebook (GCOR, etc.). These need to be created by a group of knowledgeable people that understand the concepts behind railroad operating rules and regulations.
