As to who's Phil, It's an old friend of mine, Phil Johnson, who is a mechanic at the Georgetown Loop. If you look at 9news.com, they have a discussion about the railroad and the kayakers and it seems like they are making it look like it's either the kyakers or the train and there is not enough water to support both. My point is that the train has no measurable impact on the kyakers and the issue is totally mute. I believe that the City of Golden is blowing things all out of proportion. I am supprised that they are not also attacking the casinos at Central City and Black Hawk, but they likely have enough money to hire good lawyers to fight any possible attack. I posted a response in that column my self.
