What would beer do to a boiler?

March 12, 2001 04:15PM
I ask that because Coors has been killing a lot of fish lately by dumping beer and whatever into Clear Creek. They get an itty bitty fine and keep on poluting. Well, if Golden wants its water why doesn't Coors send some beer up to the Loop in exchange.
By the way, a while back Coors quit making their beer with rice. That is why I think you noticed a different flavor. They got the message and went back to rice quite some time ago.
When I'm thirsty I like Original Coors. Coors light is really like drinking water. I don't like the right-wing (especially old Joe) anti-labor practices of the company (a very closely held family operation). But they are the largest private employer in Colorado and turn out a quality product.
And Corona??!! You got to be kidding. Awful taste. The factory workers used to piss in the batches going to the US. I suppose you put a lime on the bottle neck. Who started that junk anyway, Corona or Azteca? My favorite Mesican Cervesas are Negra Modelo and Bohemia.
