Lets go back to around 1990 at the "Rail Fair" show in Denver, fellow had a table selling class-marker lamps, lenses, etc.
He said when Handlan-Buck closed up shop, he acquired the inventory or equipment to contine making items. For several years He was always at the show, then stopped comming.
I'm away on a trip right now, but think somewhere in my biz card box there is a name/address for him in Missouri (that is if still alive).
On the C&TS, when Soni works as Engineer/Fireman the loco will always be decorated with lighted class lamps. I once asked Soni where they came from. Reply was I made them myself & bring to work when ever I make a run. At the end of the day they are taken home for safe keeping. He showed me the talents of his metal work & said the lens were replica's acquired thru Coronado Scale Models at Phoenix.
