Robin: An interesting thing that your flash link shows is the jog in the state line by Edith. Alot of maps don't even show it.
Apparently, it happened when two survey parties coming from opposite directions did not meet!
Because of the delta, the folks of Edith, for a period of time, were claimed as residents by both Colorado and New Mexico! Of course, New Mexico wasn't even a state until 1912!
