Dave--Do you have a date for this picture? The structure on the left is about where the Anheuser Brewing building shows up on the valuation maps, and the roof ventilator would relate to a beer storage use. The dirt ramp was added and they did a rather rough job of punching through the end of the building and roof for a cheap conversion job for ore loading and/or storage. There were many dark years in Silverton where buildings were considered expendable and trashed, and this is a perfect example.
