I visited Travel Town last April and the place has really improved. Some of the more vulnerable and historic pieces in the collection, such as the wooden OR&L coaches and ST&E No. 1, are now protected from the elements beneath an attractive arcade structure. Most recently, efforts are underway to restore SP No. 20 (built as a Ferries & Cliff House steam dummy) to operation.
