Drew: You might check out our web site at [www.svry.com] as it has a history section on our railroad. The SVRy was a common carrier NG but served as the connecting link between numerous woods lines and the saw mills at several different locations. You can occaisionaly find the out of print book "Rails Sagebrush and Pine" on a used book search. It is a history of the SVRy and the woods lines in the area. Hope this helps.
