SV' when you mention the odd collection of engines, it made me think about the claim in Jun '07 of the SVRy having 17 rod engines. This is more engines than Garrie Tufford's roster of the SVRy motive power. It sure would be interesting to know what was around at that time. In the book "Switchback to the Timber" which is more on history of OLC in the Columbia Gorge/Mt Hood, it mentions OLC and possbily Mt Hood having 2-3 steam dummies that were brought in from a street railway in Utah that the Eccles had ownership of. I wonder if there is a connection here with the Eagle Valley RR?
