MAJOR CORRECTION. The photo I just posted is taken from an album of photos assembled by Earl Emlaw who was Chief Engineer of SVRy for many years, and later purshasing agent I believe for OLC,SVRy and Mt.Hood. This photo is captioned by him as I posted it, but as I look closely at the photo, the locomotive is not the 100, but rather is the 101. I am sorry I didn't catch this glith when I cropped the photo off of the scan of the page a long time ago. This just goes to show even when we have the recorded word of a historical figure who was there, it isn't nescessarily right.
